Stopol Auctions has a great deal of experience in conducting successful liquidations and auctions of every size and scope.

Stopol Auctions conducts more than 40 auctions/liquidations annually – generating sales of $50 million. At these auctions/liquidations, we have sold the entire spectrum of plastics processing equipment – all brands of injection molding, blow molding, extrusion and thermoforming machinery -- as well as auxiliary and support equipment, office items, tow motors, tooling, etc.

In June 2004, Rubbermaid Group (before it was purchased by Newell) chose Stopol to liquidate three of its plants through auction – Cleburne, Texas; Wooster, Ohio; and Greenville, S.C. The Wooster auction -- which drew more than 600 attendees and required a crew of nearly 60 to manage -- generated millions of dollars in sales for Rubbermaid Group. Buyers from plastics manufacturing operations all over the world converged on the 1.3 million-sq.-ft. facility to bid on nearly 2,000 pieces of equipment. The first two Rubbermaid auctions produced a 20-percent greater return than the company had anticipated. The third auction was canceled when the facility and its contents were sold.

As a result of the success of these initial Rubbermaid auctions, Newell Rubbermaid granted preferred vendor status to Stopol Auctions, making us the top-of-mind choice for all Newell Rubbermaid auctions and liquidations. In the following 1½ years, Newell Rubbermaid contracted with Stopol Auctions to sell off surplus assets from a number of its subsidiaries and their facilities, including:

• Rubbermaid in Goodyear, Ariz.
• Graco in Elverson, Pa.
• Little Tikes in Hudson, Ohio
• Rubbermaid in Canton, Ohio
• Papermate/Sanford in Santa Monica, Calif.
