SOLON, Ohio (December 9, 2005) – Stopol, Inc., a leader in arranging the acquisition and sale of production equipment and machinery, businesses, divisions, product lines and manufacturing licenses in the plastics industry, has promoted Don Bonza to chief operating officer. The company also has added four key members to its staff.
With more than 16 years of finance and operations experience, Bonza is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations at Stopol, including finance, human resources, information technology, logistics, marketing, purchasing and sales. He also will continue to serve as the Solon, Ohio-based company’s chief financial officer. Prior to joining Stopol, Bonza served as a controller with Group Management Services, Inc. of Richfield, Ohio, and Cleveland-based KeyBank. He has an MBA from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio, and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich.

In addition, Stopol has added four key members to its team, including Pamela Bell, Director of Technology; Steve Billmeier, Sales Manager, Injection Molding Division; Bryan Kokish, Marketing Director; and Patrick Sommers, Sales Representative, Extrusion & Rotational Molding Division.
Bell will oversee Stopol’s information systems, including Web site development, auction webcasts and telecommunications. She brings to Stopol seven years of IT experience, including network, Web site development and project management. Bell has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with an emphasis on programming languages from the College of Charleston in Charleston, S.C. She is working on finishing her master’s degree in computer science with an emphasis on database modeling and design.
Billmeier not only will supervise sales of injection molding equipment, but also is charged with helping launch Stopol’s new parts and service business. Before joining Stopol, he served for six years as a sales manager at Husky Injection Molding Systems Ltd. and for eight years as a service technician at the Conair Group, Inc. in Pittsburgh. In addition, Billmeier served for eight years in the Army/Marine Special Tactical Operations Stinger Unit.
With 15 years of communications and marketing experience, Kokish will manage and oversee all facets of marketing for Stopol, including corporate branding, communications, public relations, advertising and sales support. Most recently serving as a marketing consultant for University Hospitals of Cleveland, he also has experience with Marconi Medical Systems, Inc. and KeyBank. Kokish has a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.
Sommers is responsible for all extrusion sales and rotational molding equipment-related activities, including pelletizing, compounding and reclamation. Prior to joining Stopol, Sommers worked five years in sales and service for Reduction Engineering, Inc. in Kent, Ohio, and three years for the Conair Group.
