SOLON, Ohio (June 20, 2006)– MGV Enterprises L.L.C. has chosen Stopol, Inc. -- a leader in arranging the acquisition and sale of production equipment and machinery, businesses, divisions, product lines, and manufacturing licenses in the plastics industry -- as an authorized representative of its acclaimed IntelliMold™ Process Control System for Molding.
In its role as an authorized representative of IntelliMold, Stopol will proactively sell and market the closed-loop control system to its customer base of 30,000 accounts.
IntelliMold is a real-time, closed-loop process control system that gives molders the ability to better manage the molding process. This system takes the guesswork out of molding and reduces expenses associated with production error and inconsistency.
Essentially, IntelliMold acts as a “cruise control” or “autopilot” for molding machines -- using real-time pressure and temperature measurements to calculate the the moldability of the internal melt pressure (IMP). The system – which is used by the automotive, medical, electronics, construction, industrial, appliances, sporting goods/recreation and household products sectors -- can be retrofit and integrated into existing machines, or purchased as an upgrade option on most of injection molding OEM machines.
The Ann Arbor, Mich.-based company not only manufactures the IntelliMold system but also provides a variety of injection molding product development and analytical laboratory services for manufacturers in the plastics industry.
IntelliMold is recognized for its ability to improve material processing by reducing cycle times, cutting scrap and overall costs, and allowing molders to optimize the performance of their equipment.
“With raw material costs so high, molders need to be as perfect as possible. Bad parts are more expensive than ever,” said Milko Gergov, MGV president and inventor of the IntelliMold system. “Processors trying new formulations to reduce expenses also must deal with minor changes in additives that can change the way the plastics flow and respond in the mold. IntelliMold significantly reduces the odds of error."
“This arrangement is good for Stopol and MGV, but ultimately, the greatest benefactors are the molders” said Stopol CEO Neil Kruschke, Jr. “When you consider how the prices of raw materials have escalated, molders cannot afford to not have the IntelliMold system.”
