SOLON, Ohio (October 30, 2006) - Stopol, Inc. -- a leader in arranging the acquisition and sale of production equipment and machinery, businesses, divisions, product lines, and manufacturing licenses in the plastics industry -- has added seven key members to its staff.

The Solon, Ohio-based company has added the following people to its employment ranks.

  • Heather Muro joins Stopol as a Sales and Marketing executive. She will work closely with the Injection Division sales team, lend her marketing skills to assist in advertising and auction responsibilities for Stopol. She most recently held the Marketing Director title for Rysar Properties, Builder/Developer Services. Heather has a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Kent State University.
  • As a Junior Account Executive Sarah Nehez uses her previous sales experience for sales and marketing support. Before joining Stopol, Sarah worked for Verizon in both Ohio and Massachusetts in a number of capacities, including sales and customer service.
  • Erika Palmieri joins Stopol as its new receptionist. She is responsible for greeting guests, managing incoming calls and providing administrative support. She has served as the Manager of an internet radio station, a Receptionist for Palmieri Salon and Spa, and as an Assistant Sales Associate for Amazing Tickets. Erika has a bachelor’s degree in the Music Industry from Northeastern University in Boston.
  • Rick Pastor will oversee Stopol’s information systems, including Web site development, auction webcasts and telecommunications. He brings to Stopol more than six years of IT experience, including network, Web site development and project management. Most recently, Rick served as the Network, Server and Desktop Support Analyst for Allstate Insurance in Hudson. He has an MBA from the University of Phoenix as well as a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems
  • Carolyn Reed brings 20+ years of sales experience to Stopol as an Account Executive in Injection Molding. In this role, she is responsible for managing and growing a number of injection molding accounts. Before joining Stopol, Carolyn served as Senior Business Development Associate with FACTS, Inc. in Cuyahoga Falls. She also has worked as Sales Manager for both TownsendTarnell, Inc. and Crain Communications’ Plastics News.
  • Tonjua Roberts , who joined Stopol earlier this year as Controller, is responsible for supervising all day-to-day financial matters for Stopol, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, payroll, and managing accounts receivable and accounts payable. She also is responsible for overseeing the finances of all Stopol entities, subsidiaries, partnerships and joint ventures -- including Stopol Auctions L.L.C., Stopol Business Services, Stopol Parts L.L.C., SafeStructure L.L.C. and Royce Routers L.L.C. Prior to joining Stopol, Tonjua served as a Controller for Park Place Corp. in Greenville, S.C. She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from East Tennessee State University and currently is working toward her CPA/master’s degree.
  • Ron Slusarski joins Stopol as its Logistics Coordinator. In this position, he will manage and coordinate all logistic activities, including the transport of over 100 pieces of machinery each month and thousands of ancillary items. Ron mostly recently worked for the L-3 Communications Corp., serving as a contracted Logistics Manager at Camp Anaconda in Balad, Iraq. He also holds a number of logistics-related certifications. In addition, Ron served for six years as a Staff Sergeant with the U.S. Army.
